Sweet Gesture

Despite the chill in the weather, Connor warmed my heart. I was getting him a bowl of doughnut holes for breakfast this morning when the phone rang. I carried his bowl with me and set him in the chair next to mine with his doughnut holes and milk and carry on my conversation. He gets up 30 seconds later while I'm busily gabbing away and returns with another bowl of doughnut holes. I said "Honey, I already got you a bowl," nodding toward his barely touched treats and he replied "For Mama" and handed them to me. So thoughtful!
